The fever that falls is the one that will rise again Secrets are mine but I won't tell anyone Mind this advice, such inconvenience Picture me now and my motives are meaningless
Stubborn and tired of things I can never know Unsatisfied, well I have so far to go When can I sleep? Sink into nothingness Fighting my way through the wretched unhappiness
Voices that speak, always been spoken to If I could wake I'm sure I'd be open to Ready to sign, put my trust in anyone And I'd do the time cause there's nothing I haven't done
There is no cure and no remedy Have no more faith and no precious memories Sorry that I've failed you and we should've won But I feel like it's over before it's begun

Pages and pages and pages of poetry I'm not doing so well Teach me the bible, the scriptures, disciples And baby teach me how to spell
My mother and father thank god for a daughter I wish that I could have been more And they were so proud when I learned how to walk But since then I just lay on the floor
But you'll be so sorry when they find my body So riddled with all your complaints And all of your smoke and your mind, it's a joke Did it hurt you so much that you lay?
I lie down here I lie down here I lie with the flies and the lillies that you despise
I, I'll get by I, I'll survive When the world's crashin' down When I fall and hit the ground I will turn myself around Don't you try to stop me! I, and I won't cry
There's only two types of people in the world The ones that entertain, and the ones that observe Well baby I'm a put-on-a-show kinda girl Don't like the backseat, gotta be first
When I put on a show I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break I'm like a performer, the dancefloor is my stage Better be ready, hope that ya feel the same
